Every child deserves a breakfast that actually feeds them.
The Breakfast Revolution serves about 50,000 people a day in Indian schools, anganwadis and communities: children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. UGIPL builds the engine TBR uses to design its new recipes. The engine checks each one for complete protein.
₹10 feeds a child breakfast for a day.
The problem
Full is not the same as fed.
The usual school breakfast fills a stomach and still leaves a child short of protein, iron and zinc. Hunger is solved with volume. Malnutrition is solved with the recipe.
67.1%
of Indian children aged 6 to 59 months are anaemic. That is about two in every three.
Source: NFHS-5, 2019 to 2021, the latest national anaemia figure (NFHS-6 dropped the indicator).
How it works
From an engine to a child's plate.
TBR designs the recipe
UGIPL built a recipe engine for The Breakfast Revolution. TBR's team uses it to design new breakfasts from Indian grains, millets and pulses, and the engine checks all nine essential amino acids, plus sugar and salt.
Schools serve it
TBR delivers breakfast to schools and anganwadis every school day. The new recipes are built for schools with no kitchen and sometimes no water.
A child eats a better breakfast
Each new recipe is designed to give a growing child complete protein, with the iron and zinc that most school breakfasts lack.
Ojas is a lighter, public version of the engine. Describe a breakfast and it builds the recipe, numbers and all.

Sweet formats get flagged for sugar, so the engine suggests the savoury path for everyday feeding.
In a parent's words
My daughter has gained weight and has become more lively. She loves the new food at school, and now my younger son wants it too.
